« on: May 02, 2016, 09:49:26 PM »
Anyone heard of a new octane boost called Race Gas?? I see Jegs has it for 30 bucks for 32 oz. Seems kinda high unless its's some special stuff.....

the amsoil stuff contains MMT and does work. I used it before i started hitting the motor with methanol. the spark plugs will turn orange with MMT but you can still read them. I couldn't find the MSDS sheets for that stuff but they mention MMT in their fact sheet so its using the right stuff vs the other octane booster crap sold in stores.

I have a PC account with amsoil so it costs me 42.30 for a case (6 x 12oz bottles) if you wanted to go that route I could save you some $ over the list price.

If the sun doesn't come out again, :banghead2: I won't have to worry about octane boost  I was just curious about this race gas stuff, but I never tried the amsoil product. I'll give it a shot..............if the sun ever comes out.
