What struck me was that if you went up looking for used body parts, you were out of luck. Didn't see many, if any muscle car fenders, doors, hoods, mirrors, glass, nothing along those lines. I went up looking for a set of old school centerline front runners for my green buggy.......but nothing found. Better luck at modifiers I guess............

Did anyone attend the swap meet this past weekend? Did you find what you were looking for? Or close to it? Place was packed with sellers and buyers, but I was disappointed that I really didn't see anything worth looking at...........and we covered damn near the whole show....

General Chat / A Christmas Poem......

Twas the night before Christmas, and thru the garage,
not a trace of a Ford, or even a Dodge.
The presents were wrapped, and the lights were all lit,
so I figured I'd mess with the vette for a bit.
I popped the release and lifted the hood,
when a deep voice behind me said "looks pretty good."
Well, as you can imagine, I turned mighty quick,
and there by the toolbox, stood good ole Saint Nick!!
We stood there a bit, not sure what to say,
So Santa then asked "wanna trade for my sleigh??"
"No way Santa" I said with a grin,
"But if you got the time, we could go for a spin?"
His round little mouth, all tied up like a bow,
turned into a smile as he said "Hell, let's go!!"
So not to disturb the neighbors retreat,
we pushed the corvette out into the street.
Then, taking our places to drift down the hill,
I turned the key on, and let the clutch spill!!
The sound that erupted took Santa by surprise,
but he liked it a lot, from the shock in his eyes.
With goodyears a screamin' and sidepipes a glow,
we headed on out where the hotrodders go.
Santa's grin widened, with every shift of a gear,
then he boasted quite loudly, "Can't believe what I hear".
So I back off the throttle, and asked him to drive,
and he said "Hell yeah, but lets give her the bottle!!"
When he walked past the headlights, he shook at the knees,
So he took a deep breath and said "Lord help us please!!"
The big block exploded with side exhaust sound,
Santa let out the clutch, and the vette shook the ground!!
Shift into second, again into third,
I sat there just watching, at a loss for a word.
Then Santa screamed loudly as we blasted from sight,
Merry Christmas to all, it's a hell of a night!!

Doesn't cecil county have a Saturday test and tune early in the season or is it too crowded?? Last time I did a Saturday T&T I hosed my motor and it put me out of racing for quite a while............bad memories from that day

Rentals are always an option if you can get in on some coat tails. I guess the more sign up the cheaper the cost, as long as your not waiting in the lanes for 2 hours. Anyone know what the average car count is for a rental?? I never attended one.......

Driving to Atco on a Friday night SUCKS !!!!

........unless Maple Grove is an option?? From my house any of the tracks are easy to get to but for the guys in the city I guess Atco makes the most sense?? I am open for any options.....fire away
