I looked at the calendar and it was asking what section to put it in, so I gave up.  You can delete it if you want.

It's a shame ... this calendar actually works better than the old in that it links the post directly to the calendar so you don't have to do it twice.
I'll leave it for you ... basically when you're adding an event ... instead of doing it in the events forum you go into the calendar and add it there and select the events forum ... it will then add it in both places at the same time ... I just added a test event.

Ok, that makes sense.  I didn't know why it was aksing what wection to put it in.  I'll givbe it a try with the next event.

yeah ... it's pretty cool ... much easier I think.
The only gotcha is the "event title" shows up in the calendar and is not editable ... but the Subject shows up in the forum and is editable like a normal post.

You can edit the event title.  I screwed up and if you go to the calendar, find the event, click on the pencil and you can edit. Only an OLD guy could figure this out!!!  The only thing I can't figure is how to post a multi day event on the calendar??? Also I don't think I can post news.

I don't think you can post over multiple days ... I will look into the news ... i set it so you can post it but I'm not sure where you need to go to use it.

The old board you could put a date range and it would put it on the calendar for all those days.

I'm surprised he has time to bitch with all the fuel pump changes he's been doing ... of course it helps to put the pump on with the flow in the right direction  :banghead2:
