Starting the install on the s&w bar next weekend. Ordered the 12 bolt from Strange. just gotta get a rear disc brake set up and fule line and fittings so i can install the sumped fuel tank when the rear goes in. Next spring the car will be 100% ready!!!

Ed, sounds like your getting serious :bounce: :bounce: about putting some rubber down..........I'm just gonna try and do some hidden mods here and there so I can hit some nostalgia and old timer shows in the future. Nothing serious, I just wanna make a few passes for old time sake... :joy: :joy:

Next spring.......hell, I stole RT's trailer and plan on running the modifiers show on the 8th. I haven't raced that car since 2004. Looking forward to rowing a few gears again!!

Thats right it is a ford block i forgot what car did that block originally come in again? And by the way my heat works just as good as your AC lol

Not bad.......been 11 years since I last raced the green goblin, but since I removed all the go fast parts I lost a full second and about 8 mph's. Putting that stock intake back on was a killer. R/T got a video of the second pass I think.....bulbed in the first round, put it on the trailer and lived to race another day.

I'm getting closer had a setback with the rear Strange could not build the rear i wanted. So after going back and forth with S&W we ended up going with a Moser 12 bolt should be in this week. Bar is done,drag springs and 90/10 struts done. have a sumped gas tank that's going in when the rear goes in. going to use the Aeroquip #10 push lock line. Just gotta get a new driver seat and 5pt harness, put the driveshaft loop in. Probably going to run a drag radial 275/60

I didn't really get to drive it but the 5 minutes home from the guys house that did it. It was too loud on decel I was scared to go fast. :-(
