hey boys, haven't been on here in years..... I have to ask, is the street scene in philly dead? Are there any real fast street cars out there & if so who's the top of the heap. Tuesday, after watching yet another episode of street outlaws, some of the guys at work started asking me if I ever saw anything like that on the street (non import big tire fast cars)& I had to fill them in about some of the ones I saw & didn't get a chance to see.
KOS, mike gabe,hammett,jo-jo & baldy,the north carolina boys,marino ,the red alert gang,angelo's fleet to name a few I saw. I wondered is the street scene dead in philly, is there any fast cars out there now or have the import taken over?
one guy I never saw but wanted to was jim sparr (RIP) & his mustang, heard he used to tear up some asphalt. there was a rumor that he once took a 1/4 page add out in national dragster challenging anyone to a street race anywhere as long as they has DOT tires & an full exhaust?
also heard he used to drive the stang from pa to tuckaho nj (<SP?) to race! I know jim has passed but wonder what ever happened to his car, think it was a 65 mustang with a bbc?
good to see the sites still up, I had some good times on here starting shit & watch'n rac'n!

thanks but no thanks, car shows are for the birds. I just wanted to know if the streets were alive or dead....by all the great responses , I'm guess'n dead.
